The team here at Charlotte North Lacrosse (“us”, “we”, or “our”) cares about your privacy and keeping your personal information safe (and, just so you know, our formal business name is Ocho Lacrosse, LLC). We may collect information about you through our website, https://www.charlottenorthlacrosse.com (the “Website”), and when you use the Charlotte North Lacrosse mobile application (the “App”). In this Privacy Policy, we refer to our Website and App as the “Services.” We may also collect information about you when you attend our live events such as clinics or training calls. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you.

NOTICE TO PARENTS

Protecting youth players’ privacy, especially for children under the age of 13, is extremely important to us. We aim to provide a safe and empowering space for budding lacrosse players.

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for providing our Services. And we do not share information with third parties beyond the limited circumstances described below. Please keep in mind that our Services include hosting an open community platform where members of all ages may publicly post content and connect with other members. Our members can find and chat with each other in public or private groups, or one-to-one. They can also publicly post photos, comments, audio clips, video clips, and other media and data. We call this “Member Content.” Our members can also add information about themselves to their public profile.

This means that, in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, other members may search for, see, use, or share any of your child’s profile information or Member Content that your child shares or makes publicly available through the Services. And your child may also see other members’ profiles and Member Content, including through direct messaging.

If your child is under the age of 13, by allowing them to access and use our Services you give us permission to collect, use, and disclose their information as described within this policy. If you believe that your child may have provided us with their information accidentally or in violation of this policy, or if you would like to exercise your rights to review, refuse to permit further collection or use, or delete your child’s information, please contact us using the Contact Us information below.

At Charlotte North Lacrosse, we are focused on building a strong community of athletes and inspiring confidence on and off the field. We would not be able to accomplish this goal without you!   • Device Information: We collect information about the computer or mobile device you use to access our Services, including the hardware model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

You can manage your information whenever you think the time is right. For example: Account Information: You may update, correct, or delete information about you at any time by logging into your online account and modifying your information or by contacting us.

Location Information: You can choose whether or not to allow the Services to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location through your device’s settings.

And if you’re a parent of a member younger than thirteen years old, you have the right to review, refuse to permit further collection or use, or delete your child’s information.

DATA RETENTION

We only retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. When the purposes of processing are satisfied, we will delete your personal information within six months.
