Charlotte North is one of the most accomplished and influential players in women’s lacrosse today.

As a professional and international athlete, an emerging leader in women’s sports, an ESPN broadcaster, and a dynamic sports entrepreneur, Charlotte has redefined what it means to be an elite lacrosse player.

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Charlotte was a multi-sport athlete before picking up a lacrosse stick at age 13. She began her college career at Duke University, where she quickly made a name for herself as a top scorer. After two seasons, she transferred to Boston College, where she truly made history. During her time at BC, she led the Eagles to a National Championship in 2021 and a runner-up finish in 2022, while also securing back-to-back Tewaaraton Awards (2021, 2022) as the best college lacrosse player in the nation. Charlotte broke NCAA records for most career goals and most goals in a single season, solidifying her legacy as one of the greatest collegiate players of all time.

After college, Charlotte launched her professional career as the first overall draft pick in the Athletes Unlimited Pro Lacrosse League in 2022. She led the league in scoring for three consecutive seasons, setting records for most goals in a season (50) and most goals in a single game (8). She continues to be a prominent figure in professional lacrosse, participating in major events such as the PLL All-Stars men’s and women’s skills competition, where she recorded the fastest women’s shot at 92 mph.

On the international stage, Charlotte has proudly represented the United States as a member of the USA Women’s National Lacrosse Team, winning a gold medal at the 2022 World Lacrosse Women’s Championships. She also plays for the USA National Box Lacrosse Team, further showcasing her versatility and dedication to the sport. Looking ahead, she aims to compete in the 2028 Olympic Games, where women’s lacrosse will return after a long absence.

Beyond the field, Charlotte has established herself as a respected ESPN broadcaster, providing insightful commentary on both women’s and men’s lacrosse games. Her charismatic and knowledgeable presence has made her a key figure in expanding the visibility of lacrosse at all levels.

In 2021, Charlotte launched Charlotte North Lacrosse (CNL), her own sports business that offers in-person and online lacrosse training. Through CNL, she conducts clinics nationwide, sharing her expertise with players of all ages and skill levels. The CNL App provides a unique blend of instructional content and community engagement, allowing members to learn directly from one of the sport’s greatest players. Additionally, CNL features a line of branded apparel and equipment, developed in partnership with Gait Lacrosse, whose gear Charlotte has trusted throughout her career.

Charlotte’s influence reaches beyond lacrosse, as she is committed to advancing opportunities for women in sports and entrepreneurship. Her vision is to leverage her athletic success and business acumen to build a lasting legacy that transcends the field. As she continues to break barriers and set records, Charlotte North remains a trailblazer, empowering the next generation of athletes to dream big and play hard.
